Empiezo con mis dos favoritas de la noche, Amy Adams de Oscar de la Renta y Jennifer Lawrence de Dior Alta Costura. Ambas con vestidos muy muy voluminosos, pero sin caer en el prom-dress de Octavia Spencer. Colores nude y recogidos sencillos, con el cuello libre de accesorios y dando total protagonismo al vestido, porque se lo merece. Impecables.
Starting with two of my favourites of the night, Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta and Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture. Both wearing bulky dresses, but without crossing the prom-dress line like Octavia Spencer. Nude colors and easy upsweeps, with the neck free of accessories and giving all the atention to the dresses, because they're worth it. Flawless.
Estilo con mayúsculas. Esto es lo que me viene a la cabeza al ver a Emanuelle Riva, de 86 años, con este Lanvin, que aunque no es la última moda, ella lo hace suyo, con un porte y elegancia que solo podría lograr alguien con experiencia. Jane Fonda no cree en la mala suerte y opta por este modelo amarillo de Versace Atelier. Mucho se ha hablado sobre si era o no el más glamuroso de los vestidos, pero para mí está perfecta. ¡Muchas -todas- quisiéramos lucir como ella a los 75 años!
Style in capital letters. These's what came to my mind when I first saw Emanuelle Riva, 86 years old, with this Lanvin, which despite is not the most fashionable item, she makes it hers, with an appearance and elegancy that can only be achieved by someone experienced. Jane Fonda doesn't believe in bad luck and chooses this yellow outfit signed by Versace Atelier. A lot has been said about if this dress is the most glamorous one, but to me she looks perfect. Many -all- of us wish to look like her at our 75-years-old!
Tonos metálicos fueron escogidos por Jessica Chastain y Naomi Watts, ambas de Giorgio Armani. Reconozco que no puedo ser imparcial con estas dos actrices, me parece que siempre, se pongan lo que se pongan, están perfectas. A pesar de mi parcialidad, hay que reconocer que el escote de Naomi Watts le sienta como un guante, además de ese color plata, que hace resaltar sus ojos. En cuanto a Jessica Chastain, solo puedo decir dos palabras: Veronica Lake.
Metallic tones were chosen by Jessica Chastain and Naomi Watts, both wearing Giorgio Armani. I admit I can't be impartial with these two actresses, at my eyes they're always perfect, whatever they wear. In spite of my partiality, we have to recognise it: that neckline fits Naomi Watts like a glove, plus that silver tone, which make her eyes pop. About Jessica Chastain I can only say two words: Veronica Lake.
Charlize Theron de Dior y Jennifer Garner de Gucci. Ambas muy correctas, con unos vestidos muy lisos y favorecedores que tienen el peplum y los volantes como protagonistas. Un estilo que las dos actrices repiten mucho, porque saben que les sienta bien.

Colores pastel, encaje y adornos en relieve son el factor común de estos tres vestidos. De izquierda a derecha: Alicia Vikander de Elie Saab, Amanda Seyfried de Alexander McQueen y Louise Roe de Monique Lhuillier, un vestido que ya hemos visto a Taylor Swift. Las tres están espectaculares, aunque yo habría escogido otro color para el cinturon de Alicia Vikander y no termino de comprender que hacía la estilista Louise Roe en los Oscars.
Pastel colors, lace and embellished are the common factor of these three dresses.
