Hacía mucho -muchísimo- que no hacía un post con outfit propio, concretamente desde Enero. Me empezó a gustar más el concepto de blog de tendencias, y ahí me quedé. Sin embargo, cuando llegó mi deseado peto vaquero de Asos no pude decir no, así que quedé con una amiga y dije ¡fotografíame como a una de tus mujeres fracesas! Y eso hizo, y me encanta.

It has been a long -long long- time since the last outfit post, concretely since January. I started to embrace the idea of "blog of tendencies" and there I remain. However, when I got my beloved dungarees from Asos I couldn't say no, so I met my friend and told her "photograph me like one of your French women" and so she did, and I love it.

Rock and bows for Streetdetails

Hoy os traigo algo que me ha tenido super ilusionada los últimos meses y que no os podía mostrar hasta hoy. A finales de noviembre participé en una sesión de fotos para la web Streetdetails, una de mis favoritas. Os recomiendo que la echeis un vistazo, porque es muy completita, desde streetstyle hasta noticias de la industria, pasando por sorteos, vídeos, etc. ¡Una maravilla!

Today I can finally show you something I've being super excited about the last 2 months! At the end of November I took part in a photoshoot for the web Streetdetails, one of my favourites. I fully recomend you guys to take a look at the page, 'cause is quite complete, from streetstyle to fashion news, including big brands discounts, videos, etc. Such a wonder!

Cozy up!

Hello hello! Lo primero de todo, ¡Feliz año nuevo a todos! Espero que todos hayais empezado el año con la patita derecha, enderezados y con muchos propósitos que incumplir a lo largo del año, mínimo 12, uno para cada mes, ¡así la cosa no decae!

Hoy es uno de esos días previos a la regla en los que tu barriga se va de las manos y debes sujetarte el ombligo para que no se salga hacia fuera. En días como estos, necesito vestirme con algo cómodo y ancho, que pueda abarcar todo mi volumen corporal sin apretar donde no debe. Así, este jersey es perfectísimo, anchote y super cómodo. Por supuesto, los tacones me los he puesto solo para la foto, porque luego los he cambiado por unas converse planas y cómodas, ¡que para sufrir estoy yo ahora! 

Hello hello! First of all, Happy New Year pals! Hope you all have started the year with the right paw, sorted out and with tons of purposes to break along the year, minimum 12, one for each month, so we don't decline!

Today is one of those days previous to the period, when your belly gets out of hands and you have to push the belly button so it doesn't pop out. In days like today I need to wear something comfy and loose, something able to cover my whole volume without tighten. Needless to say, I'm only wearing heels for the pics, I switch them for Converse as soon as I finished...this is no time for suffering!

¡Felices fiestas a todos! ¡Espero que comáis mucho y muy rico y que Papá Noel, los Reyes o quién sea que se presente en vuestra casa con regalos cumpla cómo debe! No olvidéis dejar leche y galletas para Papá Noel, sobras de la comida para los Reyes y la bañera llena de agua para los camellos, que ahí fuera hace frío y necesitarán entrar en calor!

Happy holidays everybody! Hope you eat lots of food and lots of goods, and that Santa, the Three Men o whoever shows up at your place comes with awesome presents, as he/she or it should! Don't forget to leave milk and cookies for Santa, leftovers for the Three Men and the tub full of water for the camels, (baby) it's cold outside and they'll need to get warm!

La verdad es que hoy no tenía pensado hacer ningún post, los lunes son días muy perezosos...Sin embargo, al final he hecho un post express porque no podía aguantarme las ganas de enseñaros mi abrigo peludo con orejas...es lo más calentito del mundo entero...y tiene orejas!!

The truth is I wasn't planning to do any post today, Mondays rise my laziness to a whole new level...However, I've finally done a express post 'cause I couldn't resist the tentation of showing you my furry coat with ears...it's the warmest thing in the entire world...and has ears!

Abrigo/Coat: Asos

In grey scale

A veces el color simplemente no apetece, no hay nada malo en mantener tu vestuario dentro de la gama blanco, negro y tonos sepia. Tengo una amiga que lo hace siempre y sigue viva. Simplemente, es cuestión de actitud ¡y a ella se la ve muy feliz! Así que… ¿por qué no intentarlo?

Eso hice, lo intenté y me faltaba algo, pero como quería darle una oportunidad, solo añadí el toque del pintalabios, y eso no es hacer trampas… ¡es adaptarse!

Sometimes we just don’t feel like wearing lots of colors, there’s nothing wrong about keeping your wardrobe in the white, black and sepia range. I have a friend that lives like that and is still alive. It’s just a question of attitude, and she looks quite happy! So, why don’t give it a try?

So I did, I tried it and felt something was missed, but as I wanted to give it a chance, I just added the lipstick touch, and that is not cheating…is just adapting!

Mode pajamas on

Cuando hace frío y está nublado no hay nada que apetezca más que quedarse en casa en pijama, envuelto en una manta y viendo películas mientras comes sin parar. Sin embargo, gente con quehaceres que no puede permitirse el lujo de pasar un día entero en la cama, se ve obligada a renunciar al calor del hogar y enfrentarse al mundo sin pijama…en qué clase de mundo vivimos…

Pues bien, con este jersey me siento como si estuviera en pijama. De hecho, debo confesaros que al llegar a casa tenía tanto frío que fui incapaz de quitármelo, y acabe durmiendo con él. A este jersey oversize solo hay que sumarle unos leotardos calentitos, que son igual o más cómodos que el jersey, unas bailarinas y una faldita de encaje para que el jersey (que es oversize pero no un vestido largo) no nos deje con el culo al aire, literalmente. 

When it’s cold and cloudy there is nothing more mouthwatering than staying at home in your favorite pajamas, wrapped in a blanket and watching movies while eating non stop. However, people with duties cannot allow themselves to spend a whole day at home, they are forced to renounce their warm places and face the world without pajamas…what kind of world are we leaving in?…

Well, when I wear this sweater a feel like wearing my pajamas. As a matter of fact, I must confess that when I arrived home I was so cold I wasn’t able to take it off and I ended sleeping with it. To this oversize sweater is only necessary to add warm thick tights (same or more comfy than the sweater), ballerinas and a lace skirt so that the sweater (which is oversize, not a gown) doesn’t leave our butt exposed, literally.

Spring is so far away

 

Ya sé que todas las flores y los colores brillantes pegan poco con el frío que hace, pero no podía esperar hasta primavera para enseñaros este pantalón, ¿no es maravilloso? Tiene flores, y colores, y es de traje, pero ajusta, y es suave y cómodo y es taaaan bonito…

En cuanto a la camiseta, ésta la compre el verano pasado (o el anterior, no estoy segura) en Chicwish. Echadle un vistazo, tienen cosas preciosas y los envíos son muy personalizados, con una notita escrita a mano y todo <3. 

I know all these flowers and bright colors doesn’t really match with this bad weather, but I just couldn’t wait until Spring to show you this trouser, isn’t it wonderful? Has flowers and colours, is a suit pant, but is tight enough, and is soft and comfy, and it’s soooo gorgeus…

About the blouse, I bought it last summer (or summer before last, not sure) in Chicwish. Take a look there, they have stunning things and deliveries are quite personalized, with a handwritten note and everything <3

Mustard

Llevo queriendo estrenar este vestido desde que me lo regalaron en verano por mi cumpleaños, pero entonces hacia demasiado calor. Cuando el otro día por fin me lo puse, simplemente le faltaba algo (aunque aquí no se aprecie, es amarillo de arriba abajo), por lo que decidí convertirlo en camiseta y combinarlo con esta falda tartán en blanco y negro. Todo ello inspirado por la nueva temporada de Bimba&Lola. 

I’ve wanted to wear this dress since I got it for my birthday, back in summer, but then the weather was too hot. When I finally wore it yesterday, it simply felt like something was missing (although you can’t see it here, it’s yellow from top to bottom), so I decided to turn it into a top and wear it with this black&white tartan skirt, totally inspired by the new Bimba&Lola collection.

¿No os recuerda a los colores de los documentales sobre la barrera de coral que se emiten en el Canal Discovery? A mí si, ¿soy la única? ¿Tengo un problema? Quizá…pero hace que el look funcione!

¿Doesn’t this remind you to the colors of the documentaries about the coral reef shown on Discovery Channel? It does to me, am I the only one? Do I have a problem? Well…maybe, but it makes the outfit work!

Mickey rocks!

¿Quién dijo que no se podía molar siendo un ratón? ¿Y si un ratón puede molar, quien no? Así que, si un ratón mola y tú te pones una sudadera con su cara, ¿lo molón se te pega también a ti? He aquí mi experimento, ¿soy guay porque llevo esta sudadera o gracias a que llevo esta sudadera soy guay? Esa es la cuestión. 

Who said a mouse can't be cool? And, if a mouse can be cool, who the can’t? So, if a mouse is cool and you wear a hoodie with his face, does the cool-ness pass on and then you become cool too? Herein lies my experiment, Am I cool because I wear this hoodie or because I wear this hoodie I am cool? And that’s the question.

The collar of macaroni

Cuando haces macarrones, un solo ingrediente puede determinar todo el plato, por ejemplo, los macarrones. Lo mismo ocurre con este look, le quitas el collar (que no está hecho de macarrones, aclaro en caso de duda) y se queda en nada, pero con él, es el mejor de los looks: simple y delicioso, como los macarrones!

When you cook macaroni, one single ingredient can determine the whole recipe, for example, macaroni. The same happens here, if you take the collar away (which is not made of macaroni, in case of doubt) the look looses everything, but with it is the best of the looks: simple and delicious, as macaroni!

The gentlewoman

Me encantan las pajaritas, son tan masculinas y tan femeninas al mismo tiempo…son elegantes pero también divertidas, y son lazos! Que más se puede pedir!

Para este look he decidido inundarme del espiritu de la pajarita y convertirme en todo un caballero (o en un camarero, según se mire), pero dándole un toque femenino con medias y pintalabios rojo. Soy un señor, pero llevo braguitas!

I’m a sucker for bowties, they are so manly and girly at the same time…they are elegant but also fun(ny), and they are bows! What else can you ask for?

For this look I’ve decided to follow the spirit of bowties and become a genuine gentleman (o waitress, whatever), but giving it a feminine touch with red tights and lipstick. I’m a gentleman, but I’m wearing panties.
